SS: Well, after watching the London Marathon in the morning, we were treated to the Imola snoreathon in the afternoon. What a dull race: this just shows how bad Imola is for overtaking and how it should be replaced on the calendar. I'm not expecting anything great for Barcelona either, the teams do so much testing on that track that it's likely to be lacklustre. To add to the gloom it seems that DC's hopes of Title glory have disintegrated.
RP: As the suspension mounted, I counted down 1,2,3,4,5 and go. As I saw them go round the first bend (to my disappointment) they all got round unscathed, except for McNish who sadly had a mechanical failure. Meanwhile, yet again, Schumacher was running off in to the distance. There was a pattern emerging, Ferrari 1, 3, Williams 2, 4, and then they all lined up 2 by 2 McLaren then Renault then BAR and Arrows. Yet again the race turned out to be dominated by Ferrari, with Barrichello getting up to second place and of course, guess who, Schumacher first. But it wasnt all ferrari, Ralf Schumacher was third with his Williams and Montoya in the other Williams came fourth.

I, personally, was looking forward to seeing the war beetween Schumacher and Montoya carrying on but sadly Montoya didnt show his usual razamatazz. It was a disappointing day for McLaren with Coulthard lapped by Schumacher and ending up in sixth place, and Raikkonen retiring suddenly. All this asks the question where has McLaren's reliability gone? It all seems so different from when a couple of years ago McLaren were Ferrari's main rivals. Is this the end of McLaren's run in the top flight or is it just a brief phase? Well, we will have to wait and see! Spain awaits and McLaren have to deliver...
