A French F3 champion and F3000 runner-up, Lagorce got his F1 chance during the insane pay-driver musical chairs of 1994. Two years of F1 testing followed, before he settled down in sportscars as a trustworthy midfielder, racing in the FIA GT, SRWC, ALMS and other series.
