GIOVANNA AMATI
18th July, 2000
Giovanna raced briefly for an ailing Brabham
Brabham was at death's door in 1992, and it desperately needed some sponsorship and media attention. Enter Giovanna Amati, the most recent female driver who promptly spun her way to three F1 DNQs.

Scandalous rumours of relationships with Niki Lauda and Flavio Briatore didn't help matters much, and she made way for future World Champion Damon Hill, but he didn't do much better!

JV Snr shows his racing pedigree

But he never made an F1 grid. The first Canadian to win in Indy Cars, these days he has made a name for himself with success in Canadian snowmobile racing!

ANDREA MONTERMINI
17th January, 2000
Part of all the worst teams including Pacific

Follow his career from a debut crash for Simtek in 1994, to running over his own refueller in 1995, to a year as a roadblock at Forti during 1996 and a reported deal to test the 1997 Lola!

PERRY McCARTHY
16th November, 1999
A Grand Prix debut of 18m for the luckless Brit
A reject of the highest pedigree, Perry's enviable record in Formula One stands at seven entries, six DNPQs and, the statistical highlight of his career, one glorious DNQ.

His F1 career is littered with wonderful moments like his GP debut, where he drove all of 18m before the engine stalled, or driving around Monaco - where he failed to record even a flying lap.
