Usually there is 100 hours from race finish until the voting is closed, so the scores should be announced some time tonight.

Thank you for all 53 forumites who have rated at least after on GP this season, especially for GwilymJJames and Pamphlet who haven't miss a single round. Here are your average ratings from all the races - only those are on the list who have rated at least on five occasions.

Shizuka and Cynon only rated 4 races, but they were both once the harshest rater of a race, so all F1 drivers were afraid of them, SuperAguri, and mostly eurobrun. :)

Ok, very interesting! Thanks for putting this together over the year, I hope to see it back in 2013!

It will also be interesting to compare these lists to Jamie and Enoch's driver rankings.

Some other statistics of the year which you might find interesting, especially the one where HRT rules. :D

In the first part, you can see how the two halves of the year were different. In some cases, really, and it's not just Massa who everyone knows without looking at the numbers.

Averages of the first 10 races:
1. Alonso 8,35
2. Vettel 7,42
3. Räikkönen 7,12
4. Webber 6,96
5. Hamilton 6,90
6. Perez 6,68
7. Grosjean 6,44
8. Schumacher 6,19
9. Di Resta 6,08
10. Kobayashi 6,07
11. Petrov 5,81
12. Kovalainen 5,79
13. Hülkenberg 5,77
14. Rosberg 5,77
15. De La Rosa 5,73
16. Maldonado 5,48
17. Button 5,33
18. Vergne 5,13
19. Senna 5,06
20. Glock 5,04
21. Pic 4,94
22. Massa 4,82
23. Ricciardo 4,81
24. Karthikeyan 4,34

Averages of the second 10 races:
1. Vettel 8,43
2. Massa 7,77
3. Hamilton 7,73
4. Button 7,56
5. Alonso 7,33
6. Räikkönen 7,20
7. Hülkenberg 6,95
8. Ricciardo 6,57
9. Pic 6,22
10. Glock 5,84
11. Vergne 5,78
12. De La Rosa 5,75
13. Senna 5,70
14. Webber 5,66
15. Maldonado 5,62
16. Petrov 5,52
17. Kobayashi 5,41
18. Kovalainen 5,24
19. Rosberg 4,98
20. Di Resta 4,95
21. Perez 4,93
22. Grosjean 4,90
23. Schumacher 4,86
(D'Ambrosio 4,68)
24. Karthikeyan 4,49

Most positions gained:
Massa 20
Ricciardo 15
Button 14

Most positions lost:
Perez 15
Grosjean 15
Schumacher 15

In the second part, I tried to have a look at the driver's potential this year. Obviously, this includes their car's potential, as well. I counted the potential as the average of the best 10 races of each driver. Then I divided that point with the actual season average of each driver.

2012 potentials:
Vettel 8,91
Alonso 8,90
Hamilton 8,74
Button 8,43
Räikkönen 8,24
Massa 8,24
Grosjean 7,74
Hülkenberg 7,71
Webber 7,67
Kobayashi 7,44
Maldonado 7,36
Perez 7,27
Senna 7,07
Schumacher 7,03
Ricciardo 6,85
Di Resta 6,76
Petrov 6,71
Rosberg 6,58
Vergne 6,57
Kovalainen 6,45
Pic 6,40
Glock 6,31
De La Rosa 6,20
Karthikeyan 4,93

The most consistent drivers and how many percent of their potential did they actually managed to show:

De La Rosa 92,6%
Karthikeyan 89,7%
Vettel 88,9%
Alonso 88,1%
Pic 87,2%
Räikkönen 86,9%
Glock 86,5%
Kovalainen 85,4%
Petrov 84,5%
Hamilton 83,6%
Vergne 83,1%
Ricciardo 83,1%
Hülkenberg 82,5%
Webber 82,3%
Rosberg 81,6%
Di Resta 81,5%
Perez 79,8%
Schumacher 78,5%
Kobayashi 77,2%
Massa 76,5%
Button 76,4%
Senna 76,1%
Maldonado 75,4%
Grosjean 73,8%

Not too much surprise at the bottom, although a nice answer to those who think Senna was consistent this year, even if this is just an approximation of course.

Finally, about the best and worst streaks drivers had during the year:

Most races with 8+ scores in a row: Vettel, 5 (Singapore-Abu Dhabi) (Alonso, Hamilton, Räikkönen and Massa had one 3-race streaks each)
Most races with 7+ scores in a row: Vettel (Singapore-Brazil), Alonso (Spain-Hungary), and Räikkönen (Europe-Singapore), 7
Most races with 6+ scores in a row: Vettel, 18 (China-Brazil) Vettel and Alonso both only had 1 race below 6,00, Alonso's was the Japanese GP with his first corner crash

Most races with 5- scores in a row: Karthikeyan, 10 (China-Belgium), Di Resta, 6 (Japan-Brazil), Perez, 5 (Singapore-Abu Dhabi)
Most races with 4- scores in a row: Karthikeyan, 3 (Spain-Canada)
Several other drivers had 2 4- races in a row, but no driver had 3- scoring streaks. Senna was the nearest: he scored below 3 in Spain and Canada which races were only separated in the calendar by the Monaco GP.
