I´m obviously a bit disappointed to have retired. We were in a good position to fight for the podium as the race unveiled and I was feeling more comfortable with the car each lap, but a gearbox problem put us out of the race. There´s not really much else I can do, except to go out there and fight until the end of the championship.

Ligier to keep line-up for 1996
The ligier team has confirmed in a press note released today that the team will keep the same line-up for the 1996 season, consisting of Martin Brundle and Oliver Panis. It was rumoured that Mugen-Honda would want Chris Dagnall back at the wheel of a Honda powered car, but the good results taken by the current duo mean the team will stick with their pair.
Mugen-Honda has also announced that they will revert to a one team operation for 1996. This leaves Minardi in the hunt for a new engine suplier.
Aguri Suzuki announces his retirement:
Japanese star Aguri Suzuki has announced that he will retire from Formula 1 at the end of the 1995 season. This comes after the news that Mugen-Honda will only be suplying the Ligier team for 1996. Aguri Suzuki will probably concentrate now in running his own team in his home country.

McLaren were really bad in 1995. In my career, they finished 7th in 1995.

Well they were pretty poor compared to their normal form (though Nige did call the car 'undriveable) but still, it was a Pacific. Excellent driving by Dagnall that's what I say

I´m not sorry for putting him off the track, I had no grip at all after what he did to me; it was very dangerous and I could have crashed at over 200 kph. Then, the engine gave up a bit afterwards, but I wasn´t expecting much from Monza so I guess is Ok."

Ferrari, Benetton and Jordan announce line-ups for 1996;
Today three teams made public their line-ups for the 1996 season. First was Ferrari, which expectedly announced they´re hiring Michael Schumacher for the job of bringing the italian team to the top of the charts once again. At his side will be sitting Eddie Irvine, who´s now trying to get the grips to the Jordan but he´s got no luck so far.
Then, Benetton announced they´re hiring the Ferrari line-up in full and are going for an experienced couple in Jean Alesi and Gerhard Berger; maybe it´s what they need to keep the team at the top.
Finally, Jordan announced with great pleasure he´s having back at his side for one year Rubens Barrichello. Apparently Frank Williams isn´t very happy with the Brazilian and will let him go after many mistakes made by him during the season. It´s rumoured Frank Williams could be looking at the Indy for Barrichello´s replacement in none other that Jacques Villeneuve, the son of Gilles Villeneuve. At his side will be seating Chris Dagnall, after an horrendous season in the Pacific, which he was able to take to a 4th place in Spain. The will for the 1991 World Champion to be back in a competitive car and the more relaxed atmosphere of the Silverstone based team would have been enough for Dagnall than Jordan is the place he needs to be at.

Yeah, I can´t believe it either. He is supposed to win much, but not more than 10 races... and on top of that if something happens to a Benetton, that´s Herbert´s...

He's already beaten my most wins in a row record and he may end up taking my most wins in a season record as well

Of course not - it was me who began writing it...and then left it abandoned, to my shame. And I did write a Danny Ongais profile (sort of) there as well.
Wow, that is amazing! Hope it gets finished someday!

Well, a short lived race here. The car balance wasn´t very bad, but then Wendlinger did something weird and I ended up with no Front Wing. The transmission failed later on and that was it. I´m eager to go to Japan as it´s my favourite trip all along the calendar. I love eating Sushi!

Michael Schumacher doesn't want to partner anyone who could have even a remote chance of beating him, let alone a World Champion like Dagnall.
