Atlas EFX hopes to run a Panoz Abruzzi "Spirit of Le Mans" in ILMC next year.
The Czech team, who participated in the Le Mans Series with a Saleen S7R in 2010, could take over the formal entry of Panoz in Europe. A parallel program with the Abruzzi in GT Endurance, Norbert Walchhofer also plans to invest in the LM P1 class. The boss of Atlas EFX approached Creation Autosportif team with whom he might enter an LM P1. The British team have five entries in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with their own prototype, which could soon be revived. Creation Autosportif would provide technical support for the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup events, which will include the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2011.
For drivers, the Dutchman Carlo van Dam retains his place in the team. Discussions are ongoing with former Formula 1 driver Zsolt Baumgartner, and with James Winslow who was drove in the American Indy Lights Championship 2010. Adam Lacko Stephane Lémeret and also appear on the list of prospective drivers.
