I hope not. I'd rather be waging war against other people. That reminds me...
Kay Lon - Q&AMr. Lon, have you driven the car yet? If so, what are your opinions on the said car?
Well, despite Sunshine only announcing me a few days ago, they have already allowed me to test the car. I have driven around 200 kilometers with it around Tsukuba Circuit - for some reason with that motorcycle chicane, but nevermind. The car didn't feel too different from last year's one which should be good news for the team and myself. I have also driven the ArrowTech car in that shoot-out. That car felt surprisingly different from all cars I have driven before. Not really worse or better, but different. It's fun to drive, sure.
What are your expectations for this season?
Three words: the World Championship! There cannot be any other goal, I want this title which, in my opinion, should have been mine two years ago. I cannot accept anything else but challenging for the title. Not to mention that this series needs me as a champion, both to actually have someone - aside from Nathanael Spencer - whoms title win is not a pathetic joke and to break the British stranglehold on the title. If for some reason I cannot mount said challenge, I will focus on breaking some records, mainly those in which I am second: I am forty-something points away from Spencer in terms of total career points and I am second in total podiums, only needing two more to take the sole spot at the top.
I always considered a driver to change teams mid-season sucks... Do you think you could´ve drunk more Monstah to avoid this?
Well, Mark, there is one thing you need to know - I am sure you have never actually learned this lesson: unless you work for your father, your employers are not sycophants. Of course, if I had a rich and famous father like you I would never had to deal with narcissistic also-rans like Barii Mori and spineless partners like Sammy Jones - but I do not. Therefore, yes, changing your team twice during one season is awful, but that is what happens outside a nice cute little bubble of life like yours. Interesting to know, isn't it, Mark?
Just out of curiosity, is it the F1 Rejects Council or the F1RWRS Commision that runs the series?
It is surprisingly simple: The F1 Rejects Council controls all F1 Rejects issues, such as the nomination of reject drivers and teams (which partly leads to the engine selection of the F1RWRS). The F1RWRS Commision, responsible for ruling F1-F3RWRS is subordinated to the the F1 Rejects Council, so in theory, the F1 Rejects Council could override decisions made by the F1RWRS Commision, that just rarely happens.
I will add other answers if further questions are posted. Feel free to allow me to raise more controversy.
