Nice McLaren. Very nice. Interesting sidepods and rear assembly. Seems the exhausts come out the back? I was expecting the nose to be a little more aggressive, but the car sits so low they've managed to keep it smooth. Well done to them.

The English transaltion via the usual facilities makes no sense, so perhaps Phoenix or another Spanish speaking member, can elucidate.

Aquí tenéis a Pedro haciéndose el asiento y los pedales para los entrenamientos de la semana que viene en Jerez. ¡Ya queda menos para que se estrene con los colores de HRT!

I haven't done any Spanish in four years, but I sort of understood that he was having a seat-fitting and adjusting the pedals ahead of next week's testing at Jerez. Also something about HRT colors.

I gleaned that much but the colours bit was nonsensical when translated (on Fakebook, by Bing).

It's not even as if we can tell all that much about the state of the car either - according to HRT's English speaking feed, the picture is of De La Rosa having a seat fitting in the F111 ahead of the Jerez test (where HRT are planning on obtaining data about the new tyres, particularly given the subtle changes in the profile, the reduction in the time difference between compounds and a new hard compound tyre).

Sure. It literally says: "Here's Pedro at the seat and pedal fitting ahead of the Jerez practice sessiones next week. Not for much longer until when he debuts with HRT colours!"

Indeed not but at least it shows that they are doing something & might actually turn up for some testing.

While I find the McLaren more aestethically pleasant, I don't think the other cars are as ugly as you're making them to be. For me Williams' walrus nose was worse, and the impact when the 2009 rules were introduced, with wide front wings and narrow rear ones was worse as well.

Just my 0.02 EUR.

I must admit that caterham platypus nose looks better that the Ferrari and FI ones. at least for me.

Let's agree to disagree. The boxy nature of these nose 'steps' are far more hideous than the Williams walrus nose (which I actually liked, believe it or not) or the new 2009 cars. Although I did find the McLaren MP4-24 a bit unsightly.
