How does 50% discount actually help Mitie?

Mitie Aviation undecided: Drivers may make difference.
Mr.Alexander has recieved two good offers from Holden and Audi to supply them with engines for their inaugural season in F2RWRS, but is unsure which deal to take. "Both engines seem good and powerful. But we don't know what to do."
Mitie Aviation have already promoted Englishman Ashley Lilly to the F2 team, but the second seat is available for any driver. "We want to help younger drivers grow into professional racers. So if we were to take on an Australian or a German driver, that may swing the decision with the engines."

Dagnall pulls out of F2RWRS
Chris Dagnall has announced today that his team will not compete in the 2015 season of F2RWRS. "Last year was quite experimental and we frankly prefer to concentrate on our F1RWRS effort. We´ll try to land Shioya a drive somewhere to complete his testing duties at DGNgineering". It was quite a poor year for KitKat warriors, with only one win into account for their Japanese driver.

The F1RWRS Commission has announced that Dofasco Racing will have a team in the F2RWRS next year after the shock withdrawal of the KitKat Warriors team by Chris Dagnall. Dofasco was the first of the reserve teams that missed an entry during the first round of selections but will now have a slot for 2015. Rumour has it this'll mean the engine tender will be opened up to a fourth manufacturer which solves the F2RWRS Commissioner Don Rennis' growing problem of keeping all the current interested manufacturers happy while this also means that only one of the existing teams will enter pre-qualifying next year instead of two as planned. Neither Commissioner Rennis or Dofasco team owner Grzegosz Sobczyk were available for comment.

I'll keep my current numbers - 14 and 15 - if you don't mind
Johannes Rueckert will be promoted to #14, and the second driver for #15 is still to be announced.
Oh, and one thing - how about a provisional table of drivers and teams on our wiki to get things straight?

With the F1RWRS Commission expected to announce 4 new manufacturers for the F2RWRS in 2015 and Mitie Aviation Racing rumoured to be in the midst of negotiation with Holden for 2015, MRT boss Daniel Melrose has expressed his surprise that there hasn't been more interest for Holden by the new teams. "Now, I will be the first to admit that Mark Skaife and I aren't friends and probably never will be but I am simply astounded that nobody has given them a proper go. Out of all the manufacturers, they easily have the most experience when working with V8 engines with decades of experience both from the General Motors Group and their own products, I would have imagined that teams, both existing and new, would have been queuing around the block for their products. While we currently have a contract with BMW for the foreseeable future, I would tell the guys back at BMW HQ in Munich that their engines should be just as good as the ones Holden are planning to make if not even better because they will be right up there from the get go."

RWRS Report wrote:F2RWRS driver switch for Alitalia
Scuderia Alitalia have surprised many onlookers by giving Bastiaan van Nieuwenhuijzen the second Scuderia Alitalia seat for 2015. The Dutchman's promotion means Gianluigi Pazzini has been shuffled to the second RonDen Racing Engineering seat in a tie up between car manufacturers Lancia and Zastava.
While Pazzini was the stand-out rookie from Alitalia's Giovanile Squadra, scoring the most points for their new F3RWRS team, van Nieuwenhuijzen has mostly struggled in his half-season at Kit-Kat Warriors in F2RWRS. However, some good performances in the last two races for the Dutchman has ensured a full time drive with his employers in 2015.
