I am open to calendar suggestions for 1996. The current tracks I have downloaded are:

Nolecksy (fictional Czech circuit)
Seoul-Intsjon (fictional Korean circuit)
Mexico City
Pau
Anderstorp
Long Beach
Zeltweg
Sepang
Warwick Farm Raceway, an old Australian circuit

I can install virtually all the tracks on this website so if you have any other suggestions, (personally, I would like to go to Aintree) feel free to request a circuit. The current calendar for 1996 can be found here.

EDIT: I will make one restriction: The tracks must be plausibly around at the time of 1996. If it is not, please write an article stating the the track has been rebuilt. For example...

Round 14: 1995 F1RGP2C European Grand Prix
Positives:

Padraig O'Connell: Yay! Padraig finally got a win! As you can see from the lap chart, it was not an easy win but O'Connell managed to make it to the end. However, it did take two extra pit stops and two spins for John Zimmer for Padraig to win by only 20 seconds. IIDOTR for him.

Tom Douglas: Tom Douglas survived three accidents to score in the points. Quite a remarkable achievement. He was rammed up the backside by Takagi at the beginning of the race, missed a spinning John Zimmer by inches and crashed himself (breaking his suspension) while running in third. Somehow he stayed in the race to score more points for Ferrari.

Dennis Mignolet: Mignolet finally got the better of the Tyrrells and the Saubers today, even if he didn't get points. The disaster that befell Takagi gave him some hope but the Renault engine blew too early.

Masta Valsattis: 18th fastest lap of the race! Better than Reiko Megumi! Not bad.

Negatives:

Samael Meerwick: Nice job predicting your own retirement.

Footwork: As a whole, the team appears to have given up for the season.

Simtek: One driver out in pre-qualifying and the other out on the first lap of the race! Not a great way to finish up the year guys.

Damon Cannon: Cannon has had a year of highs and lows and this race was another low. After a poor start, Cannon was trapped in the midfield before he went off while trying to pass McAllister's McLaren.

Williams and Benetton: Reject of the Race for the European GP goes to Williams and Benetton as a joint award for bathplugging up the race and giving the win to O'Connell. Each driver had their own story:

John Zimmer: In any other circumstance, Zimmer would have taken the win by a country mile. Instead, he lost out to O'Connell after Benetton made four separate mistakes. His first mistake was going on a two-stop strategy, giving O'Connell and extra stop. His second came on Lap 10 when he slowed down with an apparent transmission problem. He would have been out of the race had he not drifted his way into the pit-lane but he ended up losing another thirty seconds. Zimmer made up both stops and overtook the Ferrari (after a brilliant pass) but slid off and spun the lead away. However, he made up all the lost time within ten laps and looked to challenge again before he spun off again. Fail.

Kazuhiko Takagi: Fairly miserable weekend for the Japanese driver. He started sixth. Then he crashed into Tom Douglas at the start, breaking his front wing. While Douglas Mann seems to have mastered the comeback drive, Takagi was new to the game and his trip up the field only reached Tom Douglas. Then Takagi's engine exploded with two laps to go. At least he salvaged a lucky point from the debacle.

Daniel Moreno: Moreno was significantly slower than Zimmer and O'Connell all weekend and it really showed in the race. The best he could ever have hoped for was third, even with Zimmer's problems. Adding to that, Moreno also made an unscheduled stop to fix a stuck throttle as his championship hopes seem to be fading away...

Douglas Mann: Oh Douglas Mann. What do you need to do to win a race? Mann was within ten second of the lead after O'Connell's stop and was the only other front runner who hadn't made an unscheduled stop. Then his electrics failed. Normally that isn't such a bad thing; cars have electrical problems all the time and just have to make a pit stop. Only Douglas Mann would get an electrical at the beginning of the lap, forcing him to go all the way around the track. He stopped just in front of the pits.

In other news, police are investigating a suspicious fire that broke out in the Williams motorhome after the race.

It's dissapointing to retire again, especially when the car was running well. Indeed, I had made my first stop and was running in 13th when the gearbox got stuck in 3rd. The team also informed me that I'd set the 18th fastest lap of the race!

Nah. If Zimmer wins the race, he takes the championship no matter what as Moreno won't be able to beat him on countback.

Positives:

Daniel Moreno: Moreno got the jump on Zimmer at the start and was able to stay ahead through superior pit strategy and general quickness after the Benetton driver had an off day. Although he led every lap but one, his lead was gradually cut away by Zimmer to twenty seconds before the race ended. Moreno's win keeps him alive in the championship, albeit down by twelve with two races to go. Moreno desperately needs a Zimmer retirement at the next race to stay in contention. Williams also stays alive in the Constructors'.

Rory McAllister: James Davies has bested him in the last few races but McAllister came back with a solid fifth place finish after Tom Douglas retired and Leonhard von Gottorp's Jordan sustained an electrical problem. The battle for fourth in the Constructors' is still on but McAllister's performance definitely gives a boost for McLaren.

Masta Valsattis: He finished 11th in a Forti :o . Epic.


No really, this has to go up there as one of the best drives of the season. Valsattis qualified 25th (a major accomplishment), rocketed up the field at the start and jumped into 16th place! On merit! He was ahead of such luminaries as: Pablo da Silva, Poppy Whitechapel and Andrew Spokes at the start and he defended his position throughout the race. Then he came up on Reiko Megumi. Megumi has been notoriously difficult to pass this year and she basically knocked Valsattis off the road three times which caused him to break his suspension and fall back. Did that stop him? Of course not. Valsattis battled his way through the field and got past Spokes and Scrattenheim on merit, setting the 17th fastest lap in the process. In a Forti. An easy IIDOTR this time around (which, by default, gives Gazurek DBTMOTR).

Negatives

Reiko Megumi: Despite knocking our darling Masta off thrice and robbing him of a potential top 10 finish, not to mention ruining Whitechapel's race at the exact same corner (the chicane after the 130R), Megumi was driving a fairly solid race. I have no idea how she ended up in 14th, though.

Ford: Lots of Ford engine failures meant that only three Ford cars finished the race. A 30% success race isn't going to cut it.

Pablo da Silva: Wait, is that Pablo da Silva getting passed by a Forti? Oh dear...

The Manns: The Mann siblings get Reject of the Race for generall uncompetitiveness and appallingly bad luck. Douglas Mann looked to have third place sewn up before his engine exploded again. I have no idea why this keeps happening and I doubt P. Walik knows either. Pippa looked miserable in her DAMS on Saturday as the car is slipping back into pre-qualifying and Fleet didn't look much better either. With DAMS' struggles and Douglas Mann's poor luck, the Mann siblings get ROTR for the Japanese GP. On to the Pacific GP!

I don't know what it is with this track, that's two years on the trot where I've come away a very happy lad (Im only 18 remember). Last year I scored my first World Championship point and today I've battled well into the midfield. The development on the car has been slow, and I'm pleased to have qualified half a dozen times this year. I'm looking forward to next year with Ligier and am hoping for better things. As for Megumi, well we know she can be a handful and it's a shame my wishbone was damaged in the off-track incident, otherwise I had the pace to finish in the top 10.

Masta Valsattis is willing to put his name in the hat for the Williams seat until next year. His performances for Forti have been nothing short of amazing and has already driven for a top team in Ferrari at France.
