If Groves has a drive in F1RWRS next season I'm not sure this is the most appropriate championship for him.
Autosport wrote:Budget shortfall at Jones Racing puts Jung's future with the team in doubt.
It has been confirmed today that the financial position of Jones Racing's RoLFS team is somewhat shaky, prompting team boss Sammy Jones to make a public appeal to Tristan Jung. Jung drove for the team in 2014, with a best result of 6th place, and now Jones has offered the Korean-American a chance for another drive, albeit with the premise of raising some cash,
"We'd love to have Tristan back for 2015" said Jones in an exclusive interview with Autosport, "but we simply haven't the finances available to run him unless he brings with him sponsorship of some kind. We literally need money up front else the project will be canned. I'm not joking when I say that if we don't have a response from Tristan within 48 hours, he'll be out of a drive. Connor O'Heagan has contacted me and he's confirmed he has backing from Ireland which would be enough for us to go racing in the RoLFS in 2015, but I wanted to give the first refusal to Tristan as I feel we owe it to him after last year. It's now down to him to make the call."
Autosport understands O'Heagan, who started two races in the F2RWRS in 2014 for the Scuderia Jones Italia team which was part-run by Jones, has sourced money from an investment firm comprised of a number of wealthy Irish businessmen who made a fortune mostly out of the Irish property boom in the early 2000s. It is believed the firm operates under the name of the Shannon Group.

You got 5 extra points from Jason Hamilton (even if he might not be able to drive in the first GP), and with 32 credits per upgrade (I've changed the price considerably to make it harder to pull an enormous gap to others), you now have three chassis upgrades and 9 credits left.

Why 32? That makes about as much sense as QI's points system

Would you rather have the Whose Line Is It Anyway USA points system?

It's simply because one-car teams (which we don't have at the moment) get everything at half prices, so I needed an even number to avoid having to use half credits.

Just bring it down to thirty and give me my 6 credits back

Whatevs, it's 30 credits now, meaning that both you and Eurobrun now have 15 credits left.

Bosevic out, Groves in
Due to commitments with Hydook Rally Team in TMRRC, Anton Bosevic decided to definitely retire from track racing and nominated Frenchman Sebastian Groves as his successor in RoLFS.
"I put my faith in Sebastian.", Anton said. "He was really impressive in 2011 season and he surely can race on a competitive level, given the right equipment. Hydook will make their best efforts to give Groves a car tailored to his preferences to help him do his best".
Sebastian Groves wrote:It's good to be back in LFS! I think we'll have a good shot of doing well this season, although I haven't looked at the car very much, I'm still hoping for more success in this series. I'm glad that the Hydook team has hired me this season.

Autosport wrote:Jones confirms second RoLFS driver for 2015 will be O'Heagan
Sammy Jones has confirmed to Autosport this evening that the second seat at his RoLFS team will be filled by Irishman Connor O'Heagan who has a total of two outings in the F2RWRS as his best motorsport achievement so far. O'Heagan brings with him vital sponsorship for the beleaguered team, and means that Tristan Jung will not be driving for the team for a second successive year. O'Heagan will partner the already-confirmed Danny van Rijkens.
"I'm gutted to have to turn Tristan away from the drive" said a downbeat Jones, "but he couldn't raise the money we desperately need in time, whereas O'Heagan has been able to, with sponsorship from a group of investors known as the Shannon Group. We'll be displaying their logos prominently on this year's car, with a full livery to be revealed in the near future."
Autosport wrote:Plethora of small sponsors join Jones Racing's 2015 RoLFS effort
As Sammy Jones revealed the livery his Jones Racing cars would run under for the 2015 season of the RoLFS series, it was apparent just how much things had changed on the financial side for the team. The bright green of the Shannon Group now dominates the car, showing just how a great a contribution O'Heagan's sponsorship has been for the team, whilst Danny van Rijkens' presence has clearly attracted a number of South African sponsors, alongside a whole range of new and existing backers joining, including Loctite and ESSVE which were the only two companies to not reduce their commitment to the team following their poor 2014 campaign.
"I like the new livery" said Jones to reporters at his team's base in Banbury, "whilst having to really go out there and get as much backing as we could wasn't desirable, we have a lot of new sponsors, even if most are small, and paying very little for the space they're receiving on the car. We've almost given it away in some cases just so the car doesn't look bare. Still, the main thing is we have the budget for this season now, and two very capable drivers who I'm hoping will deliver and give the team the results it deserves."
Also of note on the car are the large question mark stickers placed over the car's engine cover, pointing to the fact the team still don't have a main title sponsor despite Shannon's arrival. Time will tell whether or not this situation will change for the team.

You can hardly call two races F2RWRS experience. Marco Bizzarri on the other hand raced for the ENTIRE season plus the pre-season FedEx 100.
Also, on second thoughts, Parma Corse will take one more chassis upgrade, taking our total for this year to 3 so far
