Err, sure, I like the sound of that more than money anyway.

Works for me too.

Done. I have found that if I reload a save game often enough, you can "break in" to any team. However I will only do this for trades, if you fail to break in to a team to steal, you must wait until after the next race to try and break in again.

Haven't you figured out already that 'stealing' means 'doing a Mike Coughlan'? It's been mentioned several times already...

You still have your gearbox, its more like they stole a copy of the part. I can have you revenge raid Minardi though.

Team Update

Williams: 12.596 Million (Ryan Briscoe trashed his chassis)
Ferrari: 13.469 Million, Marlboro deal has run out, they wish to re-sponsor but not the most expensive slots on the car.
McLaren:6.120 Million
Renault:8.606 Million Turbo Level 2
BAR:9.983 Million
Sauber:9.129 Million
Jaguar:16.829 Million (needed a new chassis.)
Toyota:2.963 Million
Jordan:10.105 Million
Minardi:10.386 Million
Arrows: 8.209 Million
Ansimov: 5.247 Million

Renault surprisingly made a profit for the first time (tiny 19k mind) and were the only team to make a profit this round, Minardi made the biggest loss with -600k

Unfortunately, Renault can only supply one team. Attempting to supply other teams gives the error message "We are simply not big enough to supply another team."

There is always 2005!

The penultimate Qualifying of the year, and there are some surprises!
Image

Ralf Schumacher has pole, but only just as the Renault team are showing their intent to win the constructors title, though Michael Schumacher is right behind. Minardi have bought some upgrades and have easily had their best qualifying session of the year, whilst HWNSNBM is a strong 6th. Williams are disappointing, but maybe are just getting used to new parts. Justin Wilson starts 22nd. The worst a Ferrari has qualified this season was 3rd place before now.. Whilst Sutil must be dissapointed to be 24th, 2.7 seconds is about as close to pole as he has been this year, the field is just that tight!

The race is 73 laps.

Also rthe following teams have yet to confirm an engine for 2004 and if they don't act soon will be left at the mercy of the AI!
McLaren (Currently running Mercedes)
BAR (Working towards a Toyota deal, but not signed yet) (Currently running Honda, can't resign with them because of Minardi)
Sauber (Currently running Petronas)
Jaguar (Should run a Ford powerplant really!) (Currently running CR5)
Toyota (Should run Toyota but the engine company is a biatch in this game) (Toyota)
Ansimov (Currently running the Hart, frankly lucky dip is probably a better option then running this engine again...)

I should point out that Petronas engines will have the same conditions as Ferrari engines from 2004 onwards, i.e. running Justin Wilson or Franck Montagny - although for Petronas engines having them as test driver suffices.

Two stops for HWNSNBM and three stops for Monteiro.

The game wouldn't let you have Ferrari engines, so you went and signed for Petronas.

An announcement about BAR's engine supply for 2004 will be made after the race. Watch this space.

I am afraid it is impossible, as save game editing is something we have no idea of, largely because the saves' structure tends to be quite random.

I think the best option is to go for an engine of similar power and weight and we will just call it "Toyota".

Michael Schumacher cost 8 million a season, considering wages go up to sign him again will cost around 8.8million.

I can resign Trulli and Mercedes no problem.

oh wow, the Indianapolis circuit is glitched.

Ok 6 of the cars towards the back managed to jump a lap so how.

Justin Wilson, de la Rosa, Pizzonia, Monteiro, Kovalainen, Sutil was the top 6 after the first few laps....

The back 6 cars on the grid, somehow started a lap ahead of everyone else, with grid order changes after 3 laps Justin Wilson leads the two Ansimov cars.....

I would normally just say let it be but since I have never experienced that bug before (probably because I've never used Indy before) plus it means Ferrari benefits I say just do some crafty calculations at the end of the race to give everyone else their lap back
