Lets settle this once and for all with the holy words from Wikipedia - "Button won the race despite beginning in 14th place through relentless driving"

See? "Relentless driving". As in, he would've just kept on going and going.

Its a good job he won again because, and back on Rant again, I find it really annoying when drivers only win once in their career. Alesi, Panis, Nannini, Kubica, Maldonado (yeah) etc etc. Its crapper than not winning at all.

Button was always going to finish 2nd that day but I still believe that Alonso would have been him. I guess we have to agree to disagree.

Interestingly, out of those 5 you mentioned, four of them had some absolutely abmysal luck through injury or bad career moves and could easily have become greats of the sport otherwise.

Alesi deserved to win more. His Canadian GP win in 1995 was overdue (should have won at Phoenix 1990), and I was suprised he didn't win again. Moving to Prost was a bad move though, if only he was at Jordan for 1999.

I remember always racing as him on DTM on both V8 Supercars 2 and 3.

I have no idea why DTM was in a V8 Supercars game.

For the same reason about a billion other racing series were there - to sell more copies. Although keep in mind it was only called V8 Supercars 1/2/3 in Australia.

Probably because a standalone DTM game could be as rejectful as this.
The game is advertised to have 36 different cars... yeah well if you count all the different liveries each car has, then it's correct. In reality there's only four different cars: a hot hatch (which resembles a Fiat), a saloon (which resembles a BMW), and GT variants of the previous two. From memory, the AI or the much-appraised collisions aren't spectacular either, and the game takes about 20 hours to complete, with little replay value afterwards. But, it's a budget game after all...

Yes it was. I played the number one and number 2 iterations. Couldn't be bothered with number three for no reason whatsoever except lack of interest.

I believe you mean a iso, since the game wasn't released on a cartridge. ;) God I am such a nerd.

Though, as bad as Big Rigs was, at least it was never so bad the makers had to bury the unsold copies in a landfill in New Mexico. And then cover it with concrete.

Hello, F1 Producers. I don't want to see countless replays of the start at every bloody race, especially if nothing significant had happened. Sort it out.

+1 to Londoner and Nuppiz

Also, when there is a yellow flag, even for a while, I would like to see why it was there.
