I'll propose another, classic, non-recognized reject action: Jack Brabham losing victory at the 1970 Monaco GP because he took badly the last bend (Rascasse) at the last lap! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmzyHri8xKk

1985 - Australia - Philippe Streiff tries to overtake his teammate Jacques Laffite in the last lap who was on due course to 2nd place. The latter closed the door, which caused both Ligiers to crash and Streiff had to finish the race on 3 wheels. Ligier almost lost two podium places due to friendly fire.

1988 - Monaco - Ayrton Senna was pushing the edge in an alleged attempt to lap his team-mate Alain Prost. His solo crash was notorious, since he was 50s+ ahead of Prost.

1989 - Portugal - Nigel Mansell - The most stupid and idiotic move ever made by a professional driver in F-1. Taking out Senna after being black flagged should earn him a 1 year suspension instead of a 1 race ban.

1995 San Marino Grand Prix - Eddie Irvine, driving for Jordan, pulls into the Ligier pits during the race.
1995 European Grand Prix - David Coulthard spins off on a reconnaissance lap to the grid and has to start the race in his spare car.
1997 Monaco Grand Prix - Jean Alesi spins trying to pass Mika Salo, completes a beautiful spin-turn, then stalls the engine. In the same race, Shinji Nakano manages to end up pointing the wrong way down Beau Rivage.
1998 Argentine Grand Prix - Jean Alesi drives into Sauber team-mate Johnny Herbert during their very first installation laps of the weekend.
2001 Canadian Grand Prix - David Coulthard finds a loose nut in his cockpit and throws it away without telling anyone. In the race, he drops back with a handling problem before his engine blows up.
2001 United States Grand Prix - Pedro de la Rosa parks his car after a mechanical failure during the race, vaults the armco and finds a small ravine and stream on the other side...
2002 Monaco Grand Prix - Alex Yoong crashes at Sainte Devote on his first flying lap of qualifying. The camera cuts to the Toyota garage, showing Mika Salo laughing at him.

Worst of it is, that could have costed Senna the championship.

Another ones: Montoya spinning in the formation lap of the 2006 Australian GP, and Hakkinen spinning out of the 1998 Italian GP when he was dominating, ending up crying in the bushes.

ITV, for hiring James Allen and Steve Rider. It's a shame Steve Rider wasn't as good as his Grandstand days.

There was a brilliant race, I'm pretty sure it was San Marino 1985 where barely anybody crossed the line on the last lap as everyone was running out of fuel. I remember Boutsen's arrows barely making it and others konking out before getting there. It was ludicrous. If it was that race, then that was the one where Prost got disqualified as well for an underweight car so that made it even sillier.

Well, there was a similar incident involving Michael Schumacher and Pedro Diniz in the last laps of the 1998 race, and it even happened in the exact same spot where Kimi would later re-enact the event with Sutil. Basically, Diniz was minding his own business when Schumi just rammed into the back of his Arrows in the chicane. In dry conditions, no less.
