Laffite, when he didn't have a good race, was prone to disastrous starts to the race, spending a fair bit of laps in last catching up to the backmarkers.

This time, it's the end for Claes, after a record 28 straight seasons in the top-10. Trintignant is on 27 seasons, 26 of them consecutive. It looks like he'll take on the mantle of longest standing driver in the top-10, but no one will forget Johnny. The Award has been renamed after it's first great. The problem with this award is that he didn't. With this, all you need is a hell-of-a long career and 1 or 2 horrendous races per seson to score high in the all-time standings.

Keke Rosberg didn't drive for Fittipaldi until 1980. He drove for Theodore and ATS in 1978.

Watch out for Barrichello, Schumacher, Patrese, Coulthard, Fisichella, Alboreto (Michele could particularly be a dark horse).

And Cecotto in the other Toleman only manages 10 laps and he's not exactly in Senna's class is he?

Remember the flaws of this championship. All you need is one bad race to score high, and that's exactly what happened here. I can't remember which race it was, though.
