Information has been slowly coming since the end of last week, and there still isn't enough information for Autosport to yet write anything up about it (probably). So who's involved? What chassis is it? Which countries are hosting races? When's the first race? How many teams? And yet they have said that there are 20 races in 10 countries etc., but it's still not really telling us anything at all! Just get on and spit it out!

5 men pit crews in situ. Each wheel man responsible for a side of a car. No refueling and 1 pit stop required in the morning and two in the afternoon races. Next week is all about where you can see it. Weird...

Further back, ex-Formula 1 driver Alex Caffi is still an impressive 12th, while GP3 racer Adrien Tambay holds 18th overall and fourth in the 2WD class.

Cheers yes it is indeed my own invention, it's my helmet in BATracer, and yes it is a Back to the Future arrow on the side, I was stuck with what to have, and with a giant poster of the film on my wall (it's one of my all time favourite films btw) it had to be done!
Some bad made website wrote:Each team in A10 will represent a nation.
It wants to use a 4.0-liter Judd V10 based on the British tuner’s successful sports-car engine. These engines, sources say, would fit the fleet of British-built “Powered by Ferrari” chassis used in the final year of A1GP.
The new group, however, has yet to conclude a deal to buy the fleet of A1GP cars. The administrator for A1GP, Tim Bramston, said “quite a bit of noise and interest” remains in the assets, which include the cars and the equipment necessary to relaunch the series.

Speaking of Klien, he'd probably prefer to be driving for HRT at the moment compared to Le Mans - the AMR-One is atrociously uncompetitive (at the moment, the fastest AMR-One is about 114.5%, or the thick end of half a minute behind pole, and about nine seconds off even the next slowest LMP1 car). http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/92078
Hell, one of Audi's senior design team has said that he thinks it is the worst chassis and engine combination he's seen at Le Mans ever, nor does he seem to be the only one thinking that. To be honest, given how slow the car is, he probably has a point - nobody seems to understand why Aston Martin have gone down the I6 route, and the car itself, being rushed out to meet the 2011 rules, is very undeveloped (and it is showing big time).

I had noticed that but thought they had hit problems or something like that. How can someone with Aston Martin reputation risk fielding a car that is miles back even from the midfield? Seeing how close those GTE P BMWs, Corvettes and Ferraris are in terms of pure pace, they even risk losing for them. Thinking of it, it would be perhaps better to field 2 DBRS9s as LMP1 instead!
